Andrew attended a citywide chess tournament with 422 players and received 8th place in his division. An awesome accomplishment for his first big time tournament. He has played in tournaments within his club before but this one was held at a private school in the Galleria. The kids there have chess as curriculum and have private lessons with Grand Masters. He played eleven hours of chess that day!
