Math on Saturday?

Andrew is doing awesome in Math. He is all pre-AP (advanced placement)/GT (gifted and talented) classes in junior high. They play games frequently in math class to win homework passes. Andrew has won all of the games except one this year! He started going to Math club on Wednesday mornings and then he was invited to practice for competitions with the elite 7th and 8th graders every morning. Only 4 six graders have been invited to compete with this group! He had to be at his school to ride on the bus to his first competition on a Saturday at 6:30am and still on the way there, he said, "math is so much fun!" Wow. He did great at that competition and has another one tomorrow. Go Andrew!
